Mexico COVID Outreach

The Calvary School of Missions traveled to the outskirts of Rosarito and descended upon the church grounds at Calvary Chapel in Primotapia last week. The church has been closed for 4 months, so we gathered the church and community members outdoors for an afternoon together. The isolation and lack of work has been tough on the local community and the emotions were thick, but every person was open and attentively listening as several students shared their testimonies and a message from John 15.

The ladies immediately began greeting each other and the need for Jesus became apparent. There were 4 people that responded to the Gospel and put their faith in Christ and many were prayed over by the team. There were so many physical needs, but it was amazing to watch as people were desperate for a spiritual touch from the living God.

The kids in the community came for crafts, face painting, games, and a bible story. The ladies were ministered to through nail painting as they shared their stories and were cared for. From singing to preaching to loving on kids to prayer to sharing the Gospel…every base and station was covered and God was greatly glorified. It was as if people in the community have not had any contact with the outside world in months and the love of Christ flooded that place and the physical relief meant there was food for the coming weeks. Each family that attended the outreach was given a bag of food items, a bag of hygiene items and a bag of cleaning products including 2 gallons of bleach. It was almost more than they could have hoped for as some thought it was too much to carry and it was. But God does exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think! Each of the students walked with those who came to help carry the groceries to trailers, shacks and small homes where the hope of the Gospel has now reached. We are thankful for the opportunity to help widows like Carmenita with essentials in the midst of suffering and pray for Jose and Sonya for healing and strength. This is only possible because you have generously given, blessed, and enabled us to put food in the hands of those who need it most. On behalf of Saving Grace World Missions and every person who attended the outreach….thank you!

(In total 30 food bags, 30 hygiene bags and 30 cleaning product bags were given out in the community)
