No Matter What

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

My Wife and I Singing at Church

We Praise God for His mighty protection and provision in our lives. We thank God for each one of you and for your partnership in the ministry. As a family, we have been remembering you in our daily thoughts and prayers. May God keep you safe and give you sound health. May He prosper you in your job and business.

The month of December always brings excitement. The weather is colder; so people spend more time at home preparing for Christmas and the New Year. These celebrations are the biggest ones in the whole year, so we usually don’t miss out. But this year we cancelled some of the public events because of Covid-19.

During the past month, our Church believers from Curry* Village faced opposition from villagers. On December 20th, the believers were called for a village meeting. Many questions were asked to the believers publicly, but by God’s grace they strongly faced the challenges. Eventually, all the believers were excommunicated. Now they are not allowed to work in the village. Yet, they are strong in their faith.

Watch Night (New Years Eve) Service

We celebrated Christmas and had a wonderful Watch Night (New Years Eve) Service with our believers and family in our church.

Spending Time With Visiting Family

My mother-in-law and sister-in-law’s families visited us. We had a wonderful time with them. God helped us to encourage and pray for the believers during house visits.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for the believers in Curry* Village–that God may establish strong faith in their hearts, so that they may be able to face all of the challenges.
  • Do continue to pray for the growth of our local Church.
  • Please pray for me and my family–may God use us in an effective way for the expansion of His kingdom.

Condolence Service Where I Shared the Gospel

I met with Mani* (a 40-year-old Hindu man). He is addicted to alcohol. I got an opportunity to share the love of Jesus by saying that, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12. Overall it was a good interaction.

Last month one of our church members (a 60 year-old woman), went to be with the Lord. She has family members who are also believers and attend our local church. I got the opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus during a condolence meeting with the grieved extended family.

We had a wonderful family fellowship in one of our uncle’s house. It was a good time to pray together and go for an outing.

As a routine, I am teaching a weekly online Bible study on the Gospel of Matthew for new believers and friends. We visited some of the families and prayed for them

Our Church Member’s Funeral Service

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for Mani*. Pray that God’s Word may take root in his heart and that he will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
  • Kindly pray for our Wednesday online Bible study. Pray that God may help us to reach unreached people with the Gospel of Christ Jesus during the pandemic.
  • Please pray for me and my family. May God use us in an effective way for His glory.

Thank you very much for your prayers and support!

Creating Audio Teachings For Students

First of all, we would like to thank our Almighty God for His provision and protection. Secondly, we would like to thank each one of you for your valuable prayers and financial support. We assure you that we have been praying for you and your family–that God may keep you safe and give sound health and that you may have multi-fold blessings.

During the past month, God gave me the privilege to create audio classes for the second year students of our Pastor’s school on the epistle of Jude. Teaching them through audio recordings was a wonderful experience for me. I appreciate my mentor, Pastor 15*, who guided me in this. I also have a weekly online Bible study on the Gospel of Matthew for new believers and friends.

Brother Nadim* with His Family in the Hospital

We have still not opened our church, and are therefore hosting online church services. Last month, we visited some of the church families and prayed for them. My daughter is taking her midterm exam online.

Two weeks ago, a believer named Nadim* (He was the first believer who was lead to the Lord through my ministry when I started serving the Lord) was in a traffic accident. While he was on his way to work on his motorcycle, a car came from the opposite direction and hit him very badly. His leg and hand were broken. He had surgery, which was successful, but he is still in the hospital.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please continue to pray for our online church services.
  • Kindly pray for our Wednesday online Bible study, that God may help us reach more people with the Gospel of Christ Jesus during the pandemic.
  • Please pray for the speedy recovery of brother Nadim*.
  • Please pray for me and my family–may God use us in an effective way for His glory.

During this pandemic, God has enabled us to learn more of the Bible under Pastor 15*. Every Wednesday I have been conducting an online Bible study for new believers and friends. I am teaching them from the Gospel of Matthew. I am also studying and taking notes of Jude for our Pastors school students.

The Nurse who Joined Our Bible Study and Her Husband

Sister Bethany* is a staff nurse in a government hospital. She was working among Covid patients. Eventually, she tested positive for Covid. Because of that, she had to quarantine for 14 days. During this time, I got an opportunity to share the Gospel with her and pray for her. Now she is absolutely fine and every Wednesday she is joining our online Bible study.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please continue to pray for our online church service.
  • Kindly pray for our Wednesday online Bible study; that God may help us to reach more people with the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
  • Please pray for Sister Bethany* and her family members–that they will have good health and grow spiritually.

We are very blessed and privileged to serve Him, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. In this pandemic situation, everyone is facing some kind of crisis. God is so faithful to us. As a family we have been praying for you all; that the Lord will protect you from all kinds of diseases (especially from Covid-19) and that you may experience multi-fold blessings in your family and ministry.

Visiting One of Our House Churches

God has been helping us learn more about Him and draw closer to Him. It has been a great time learning the Bible under our mentor and pastor, Pastor 15*. These days, I have been studying from the Gospel of Matthew and helping some of the believers and friends by teaching them online. I am also learning and taking notes from the book of Jude for our Pastors school students. This past month, God gave me an opportunity to share His Word in our online church service via facebook and to visit one of our house churches at Curry* village.

My Wife At Her School

We  have also visited some of the church families and prayed together. My wife and daughter are both engaged in online classes. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law are both medical employees. Since last month, both are working among Covid patients. Thus far, God has protected their whole family with good health.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please continue to pray for our online church service.
  • Kindly pray for Wednesday online Bible study- that God will help us reach more people with the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
