About Us

Tina and Gary both grew up in southern California and met in high school. Tina knew that Gary was not a Christian so she began to pray for him.  After about a year of praying, Tina had a chance to share the gospel with Gary and he gave his life to Jesus in 1979. Tina and Gary were married in 1984.

God opened doors for them to move to Oregon in 1995 to help a Calvary Chapel get established in Corvallis. As the young church grew, Gary labored faithfully in many practical areas, in addition to serving as an elder and leading the men’s ministry for several years. While at Calvary Corvallis Gary was also involved in a number of outreaches to Eastern Europe.

Eventually Gary and Tina sensed the Lord calling them to move their family to Europe. After selling his Chiropractic practice, Gary and his family moved to Hungary in 2002. Their service in Hungary included a year of teaching at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Vajta before moving to Esztergom to help with the church there. The Lord also opened doors for Gary to lead Bible studies in neighboring Slovakia, help with church plants in Hungary and Slovakia and teach conversational English in high schools located in Hungary and Slovakia. For eight years Gary led Bible/English camps in Great Britain resulting in many Hungarian teens and young adults surrendering their hearts to Jesus Christ.

In December of 2006, God called Gary and his family to move to Germany to be part of what God was doing through the Calvary Chapel movement in that nation.

While in Germany Gary and Tina planted Calvary Chapel Ansbach; reaching out to the American military, the German people and the international students in the area, through personal evangelism and solid verse by verse teaching through the entire Bible.

In December of 2017, God moved the Barrow family back to California. Moving back to the states was a difficult thing for the family to receive, but they knew that God was the one directing them.

Gary and Tina are currently living in Victorville California. They attend Calvary Chapel Saving Grace in Yorba Linda California where God is opening a whole new set of doors for them.

Gary is currently engaged in teaching, via Skype, at a Pastor’s School in south Asia. God is using him to disciple and raise up a new generation of pastors and church planters in an area of the world that is off limits to conventional missionaries. Since this work began, there are now more than 20 church plants that have taken place as a result of this ministry.

Gary has also been asked to take part in planting a new Pastor’s College in the Middle East, to disciple and help raise up future pastors to reach out to people desperate to hear of the love of God and the forgiveness and salvation that is offered through the cross.

Tina has been invited to reach out to refugee women here is Southern California through a ministry called Voice of the Refugees. Her heart is stirred to build relationships with women who have fled their country and have relocated in this area, and to share the love of Christ with them.

Leaving Europe, the place where Gary and Tina had called home for so long, the place where their kids were raised, was a very difficult thing to do. Yet in God’s faithfulness to them, He has opened new doors for them to be part of reaching, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the unreached of the world. Would you prayerfully consider joining them in this work?

You can become a partner with Gary and Tina in the work that the Lord has given them by praying for them. Pray for wisdom, provision, protection and direction.

You can also be part of the work through giving financially. If the Lord leads you to join Gary and Tina in reaching the unreached in South Asia and the Middle East, you can click on the button that says “Become A Financial Partner.”

Thank you for your prayers and support.
