Mexico Building Project

Greetings from Mexico!

Hola! (Hi!)  My name is Mike Vincent, and I am a missionary that is serving the Lord in Rosarito, Mexico. I wanted to introduce you to some precious friends of mine, Laura and Sabino Cortez.  They have been attending and serving faithfully at our church, Capilla Calvario Rosarito, for the past three years. During that time, they have worked hard helping others, all while living in an abandoned 14 foot motor home. They have never complained about their difficult living situation and have continued to serve with a smile.

I am writing this letter because last year God put it on my heart to do my best to help Laura and Sabino build their first home. Since that time, they have purchased a small piece of land on the outskirts of Rosarito.  Unfortunately it has been taking every spare peso they have just to meet the monthly payments. When I told them that I was going to try and get people to help them build their house, their eyes filled with tears, and they couldn’t stop hugging me.

This is where your opportunity arises. At this point, the house is about half finished.  I would like to give you the opportunity to help us finish off their house in time for the new year. There remains about $8000.00 dollars worth of work that needs to be done before Laura and Sabino can move out of their old trailer and into their new dream home.

The good news is that our church members are working with Sabino as money comes in, providing free labor for him. In addition, some American churches have raised money and brought down work crews to get the house to where it is presently. Would you pray about joining us in supporting this worthwhile project? Every single financial gift, either small or large, will make a huge difference in the lives of these precious people.  Every dollar that is donated will be used to buy the needed materials to finish Laura and Sabino’s house. As always, every gift is 100 percent tax deductible.
